[VUE 2] Cell Merge

Hi,
We are trying to implement multiple row merge grouping with one column,
But as of now bryntum supports mergecells property which merges row on repeated values rather than grouping using another column or a particular logic
In the attached screenshot you can find the grouping of row merge is done based on Name column.
We want to implement like this in our application. Please do needful. Thanks

Can you please share the steps to reproduce the above error? We understand that it is frustrating when you are facing problems while building the product but we are here to assist and help you to solve these issues. Are you able to reproduce the above mentioned issue in our online demos? You can find vue2 examples here https://bryntum.com/products/grid/examples/. If yes please share the steps. If not can you please share a test case where you are facing this issue?

Hi Thejas,

I have checked with our project manager and we need more details here. Can you please share bit more details on how do you want it to work? After getting the details, we will be able to give you a better estimate. Also I want to mention that Vue2 has reached EOL and we will no longer support it from 6.0.0.

About the error, can you please share a bit of details? Because we need to reproduce it to able to fix it and that we need a test case.

Hi,
We want to perform row merge based on another column value. For example in the below grid, the age is grouped based on name column but as of now its merging the rows based on the value of the rows. In this case, the age 25 would have been merged into one cell for all 4 records but ideally it should be merged based on the name column only like shown in the grid.
