Status field is inactive.
Status filter do not work.

Please provide a test case. It's hard to tell something without looking at the code.

1. https://odoo-gantt.bryntum.com/web#action=158&active_id=3&model=project.task&view_type=kanban&cids=1&menu_id=102
2. Go to gantt view
3. Features -> Hide schedule (this is not required step)
4. Try to change task status field (screenshot)

Hi excuse, that column should be removed for now. It should be mapped to Kanban states.
