Hallo together,

we would like to use the bryntum Gantt in Odoo in german.

I checked out your localisation that works well: https://bryntum.com/examples/scheduler/localization/

I have also seen the ressources how to create a custom localisation. https://bryntum.com/docs/scheduler/guide/Scheduler/customization/localization#including-a-locale-in-react

Odoo handels translations in PO files.

How would you suggest to do the translation?

I appreciate your help!

We have quite some time a ticket open for this.
https://github.com/bryntum/odoo-support/issues/43

Will prio it on our list. We have our own locale files (in which german is included) but not all languages like in the po files.

Hallo Terrence

For me the date format and the translation are two separate points.

The date format can be edited in the language and should be taken from the following field:date_format shown in the screenshot below.

The terms are handled in PO files.

For us the language would be really important since our customer is located in Germany/Austria/Switzerland and we can't go live without a proper translation. We are willing to help with the translation so if you send us a PO file (or something similar) with the terms we do the translation and send them back to you.

Can you share any timeline when this fix could be applied?

I can send you the translation files for German. ETA will be probably next month.
