How can we see the Resource Histogram for one or multiple projects ?
Support Forum
Hi. This was requested before. We decided to create a new module in the near future with the resource histogram view included. I can give no time path yet.
Hello! We just saw that you added the resource histogram view which is a great and very important addition.
For many projects it would be a lot easier to manage by adding this alternative view instead of the one you just added.
I don't know how much work this include but for sure this is the way to manage overallocations easily and fast.

The difference is that with the above you have ONE view to see both the allocation AND tasks PER resource and not per task. By draging and droping the tasks to different resources or draging tasks to new dates (the system must put a constrain date if the task is auto-schedule or the whole schedule will not be correct). Also tasks relationships can be shown on what we suggest which is great for a project manager to finally move completely to odoo-gantt and stop using MS Project.
Best,
Christos
I am attaching the Team planner - a similar feature of MS Project which is great and the relevant feature that you have already developed which is awesom.

- That is essential to be included in Brytum Gantt for ODOO.

Yes, like the example: Grouped together by resource name is the best for a project manager. Also, any unassigned tasks tasks should be shown at the bottom (check above the screenshot how MS Project handles unassigned)
If you could do it like this, in our opinion bryntum will solve the resource-tasks handling-allocation problem once for all. At least for waterfall like projects.
I agree you get a better oversight in one view. I will try to make it configurable. There might be users who only want the gantt view in one tab.

The second one is interesting but requires a bit more effort. I made a ticket.

#56 you can expect in one of the upcoming releases.
