Our state of the art Gantt chart
Hi,
Currently in the Big dataset advanced example, we get a crash when linking a task to it's successor
Steps:
- Go to Gantt big dataset example (https://www.bryntum.com/examples/gantt/bigdataset/)
- Click on 5k tasks
- Connect Sub parent 11 to any of it's subtasks (invalid move), it will cause a crash / create a huge lag.

Note : Same issue we can see in bryntum advanced example (https://www.bryntum.com/examples/gantt/advanced/) [Try to add dependency 1.3.2.1 to 1.3.2.2]
Any thoughts / suggestions?
Thanks,
Rayudu
Any version specified when this issue will be resolved?
The ticket says Milestone: 4.2.3 that is the next patch release, as we are now on 4.2.2.
Hi,
We have taken the latest Bryntum Gantt 4.2.3, but we are still getting an error on terminal drag. We get the same error in the advanced example too.

Thanks,

Having hard time reproducing this, is there a sequence you use? Does it happen all the time?
Hi Mats,
We have sent RootCause feedback from both chrome and Microsoft Edge through the advanced gantt example. It happens at all times. ( Example: Dragging 1.1 end terminal to 1.1.1 start terminal)
Thanks
Rayudu
Hi Rayudu,
Could you please try to clear your cache and/or try it in incognito mode?
We still cannot reproduce it in our online examples.
Hi Alex,
We are able to get this error in many systems in incognito even after clearing cache. In the advanced example, you can immediately drag 1.1 end terminal to the right and the crash should appear.
Thanks,
Rayudu.
I managed to reproduce the problem on the online demo slowing down the browser. And only on windows. Ticket is reopened, thank you for report.
Although I noticed that it doesn't really break dependencies feature. Can you confirm this?
