Support for v6.x of our Scheduling components
I stumbled about the following problem in the current version (6.1.9) of the ExtJS-Gantt, which can be reproduced with the advanced example:
Summary task is manually scheduled
The children of the summary task are milestones
Dates of the summary task do not fit the dates of its children, i.e. the start date of the summary task is far away from the first start date of the children
For all children the rollup flag is set to "yes"
=> When changing the zoom level with the corresponding toolbar buttons, the rolled up tasks disapear.
This behaviour can be observed from a specific zoom level on and then further while zooming in.
Zooming out over this specific zoom level, the rollup is visible, zooming in over this zoom level, the rollup disappears.
See example screenshots below:
Last zoom level where rollup is visible
Next zoom level => Rollup is invisible
The problem is 100% reproducible with the data/tasks mentioned above in the example.
Any hints/workarounds to avoid this problem?
Thanks in advance!
The problem cannot be reproduced, if
the summary task is not manually scheduled
the summary task is manually scheduled, but the start date differs not so much from the first start date of the children (e.g. 10/16/2017 instead of 10/16/2019)
I cannot reproduce the issue. Could you please reproduce it online with the video recording enabled (?video=1 in the URL) and submit your report using the "Feedback" button? https://bryntum.com/examples/gantt-for-extjs/advanced/?video=1#en
As an alternative solution, please provide a dataset to apply to the Advanced demo, and Gantt configuration, so it starts from correct viewpreset and only zoom in click is required to make the rollup element to disappear.
Reproduced, ticket opened here: https://app.assembla.com/spaces/bryntum/tickets/9628
Thank you for report
Hard to say as we have not yet done an investigation, you can follow the ticket to be up to date with its progress.
