Deare Bryntum team,
We are using Bryntum ExtJS Scheduler 5.1.8, noticed you released Scheduler 1.X, some questions like to ask.
1. How good is Scheduler 1.x compared by ExtJS Scheduler? Any features/functions Scheduler 1.x are missing compared by ExtJS Scheduler?
2. Any migration guide for ExtJS Scheduler to Scheduler 1.x?
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,
Great question, I will try to highlight the biggest differences between the two. On the upside for Scheduler1.x it does not require Ext JS or any other framework and it has much better performance, plus a number of new features and demos. On the downside, it currently lacks a few features compared to Ext Scheduler.
For someone about to pick between the two I would recommend the following:
* For someone not currently using Ext JS and not needing the additional features of Ext Scheduler, pick Scheduler1.x.
* If you already use Ext JS or need the additional features, pick Ext Scheduler 6.x (Ext JS license required).
Please see this comparison table to see exactly how they differ: https://www.bryntum.com/products/scheduler/compare/
To compare features, you can check the feature list for each product:

And to get a feeling for how they work, browse the examples:

Thanks Johan for the quick reply.
Not sure whether Scheduler 1.x has/will have the splitgrid feature which we used at our current application, https://www.bryntum.com/examples/schedu ... /splitgrid.
Thanks,
Jonathan

We are considering upgrading to the new Scheduler and are wondering if all the features of the ExtJS scheduler will be ported according to this list:
https://www.bryntum.com/products/scheduler/compare/
If not, what features will not be ported?
