Is there any support for auto vertical scrolling on drag?

Post by Priyanka kakade » Thu Dec 06, 2018 2:10 pm

Hello,

If I am trying to drag task from one state to another which is having scrollbar then I want to scroll the task column automatically on drag.

It is not getting scrolled vertically. If I want to put the task at the end or at the second last position in the task column which is having scrollbar I have to scroll and then drop. Is there any support for vertical scrolling on drag for task column?

Please help.

Hello,

I'm afraid it's not supported out of the box and you'll need to implement it yourself. Basically you need to determine the cursor position/direction and when it's above a drop zone start scrolling scrollable container. Please check ext d&d and scroller docs:
https://docs.sencha.com/extjs/6.6.0/cla ... gZone.html
https://docs.sencha.com/extjs/6.6.0/cla ... oller.html

You can also take a look at Sch.util.ScrollManager class and how it's used in Scheduler to learn out of it. What you want sounds similar to what this class does.

Good luck,
Pavel

I've added a feature request to our task tracker: https://app.assembla.com/spaces/bryntum/tickets/7314
