"Invalid preset, please check your configuration"

Post by Antarctica »

I am using Sencha Touch 2.3.1

Sometimes, but not always, I got the error "Invalid preset, please check your configuration."

The preset is perfectly fine; I have tracked it down to be some loading issue:
-> When it works without error, validUnits is ["ms", "s", "mi", "h", "d", "w", "mo", "q", "y"]
-> When I get the error, validUnits is [undefined, undefined, undefined, undefined, undefined, "w", undefined, "q", undefined]

I found that you take validUnits from Sch.util.Date.units, which itself takes the values from Ext.Date.
Your Sch.preset.Manager constructor requires Ext.Date, but when Ext.Date is loaded, Ext.Date.DAY/MONTH/... do not (yet) contain the unit. Instead, they are undefined until Ext.DateExtras is loaded.

So IMO you should require Ext.DateExtras in Sch.preset.Manager, not Ext.Date.
Errors are human, but to really mess up, you need a computer.

Hello.
Sorry for long answer, I made a ticket to track this issue: https://www.assembla.com/spaces/bryntum/tickets/1996

How do you build your application? With Cmd?

Yes, I think it is Cmd 4.0.2.67.

Can you upload a test case for us, with your build so we can see it live?
