Dark Theme preserving the Material Shape

Hi,

Will it be possible to get the Dark Theme (colour...) based on the Material theme shape.

Indeed, When at first the theme "Material" is used, then why switching to "Dark Mode" implies to change the shape of the components?

Hence we would like to keep the shape "Materials" of all component "Widget" but when switching to "Dark" then only the Color (Front / Back / Etc...) is changed but not the shape.

If we asking this is for 2 reasons :
1) The user gets used to a specific shape when working .... (EventEditor or TaskEditor).
So changing the shape can be confusing...

2) If the "Dark" theme is applied then the overall Panel looks different (not the colour) but the shape.
So, if there are "inline" style applies to align some widget (based on material shape) when switching to "Dark" style, the alignment is completely messed up... Forcing to adjust the style inline when the "Dark" Mode is applied..

In conclusion, Dark mode (if it is based on the colour approach) could be set on any type of shape "Material" ..
Preserving the original shape whilst the colour (text/background) is updated.

Just :P in case, do you have in your toolbox, a style file, with the shape of the "Material.css" style but with the dark colour (colour based on the Dark style you have)?

Hi!

Currently we have no dark material theme.

But you can create one for yourself.
We have styling guide here
https://www.bryntum.com/docs/scheduler/#guides/customization/styling.md

If you could share it with us we may consider adding it to distribution.
But we have no plans for creating dark material for now.

HI

Thank you for the quick return.

If we ask for Prof Services (paid), to build up the style file "Dar Material" theme, will it be reasonable to expect the job back within 5 days?

Hi!

Sure you could ask Prof Services.
I'm not sure about terms and conditions so better ask there.
