STICKY: Support policy + How to ask for help

If you can reproduce a bug on our online examples, please load the page with ?video=1 to activate video recording then use the Feedback button to report this bug to us. When asking for help, please remember to include as much information as possible. Always use the debug version of the product source code to get readable error messages. Here's what we need:

  • Our component version

  • Browser version, OS

  • Step by step description

  • Any debugging you've done so far

  • Detailed error message if applicable

  • Code should always be wrapped in CODE tags

  • Full test case with code zipped up or a link to an online live example (a fiddle is preferred). Never include server side code, we cannot offer review or support of such code. No PHP, C#, Java files etc. Test cases should be runnable without any server code.

  • Screenshots

A proper test case only includes the minimum code necessary to reproduce the issue. Any other 3rd party JS/CSS should be removed.

If you have multiple questions, please create one topic for each question to help manage the forum.

Support is only offered on unmodified Bryntum source files.

The more information you provide, the faster the response will be.
