Re: Queries related to recurring event functionality[REACT]

Do you mean you want to have each event occurrence persisted on the server side? Well I'm afraid that's not how it's meant to work. By design the scheduler generates occurrences on-the-fly for the visible timespan only. So every time user changes the scheduler timespan the occurrences get regenerate...

Re: Queries related to recurring event functionality[REACT]

Recurring events is a pure client-side feature. Event occurrences are not persisted on the server nor loaded from it. They are generated in the runtime by the scheduler. There is a special field on the event model that defines whether and how the event should be repeated: https://bryntum.com/docs/sc...

Re: Unexpected scheduling with "taskStore.applyToCalendar" (successor moved before predecessor's end)

FYI There is some good progress in resolving the issue so this week we plan to finally finish it.

p.s. I've just noticed that we forgot to make a ticket for this in our tracker so adding it now: https://app.assembla.com/spaces/bryntum/tickets/9514-unexpected-scheduling-with-taskstore-applytocalendar

Re: Bryntum Ext Gantt: Early Start Date is later than Late Finish Date

That's a scheduling conflict. You set "Choose technology suite" to finish before "Investigate" task starts but also place "Investigate" task to position that breaks that instruction. Late end date is calculated based on task successors chain ..in case of "Investigate" task its only successor starts ...

Re: [REACT] Recurring timeranges.

Regarding exception dates - yes they are supported. There is a field on the model class https://www.bryntum.com/docs/scheduler/#Scheduler/model/mixin/RecurringTimeSpan#field-exceptionDates and https://www.bryntum.com/docs/scheduler/#Scheduler/model/mixin/RecurringTimeSpan#function-addExceptionDate m...

Re: [REACT] Recurring timeranges.

Long story short you need to make a new model & store supporting recurrence and add recruring time spans feature to the Scheduler. And regarding disabling header part of time ranges there is a special config https://www.bryntum.com/docs/scheduler/#Scheduler/feature/TimeRanges#config-showHeaderElemen...

We are checking the provided test case yet have not found a solution yet. Sorry for delay the case is quite tricky.

Re: [REACT] Recurring time range linked to resource

As far as I understand you want to define ranges for specific resources. That's another feature, not time ranges but resource time ranges (here is its demo: https://www.bryntum.com/examples/scheduler/resourcetimeranges/). So you repeat modifications (that we did for time ranges store/model) to add r...

Re: Reccurence and Lazy Load

Also, what would be the best practice to load events based on the displayed range dates of the sheduler? Regarding this, an application could track the Scheduler time range by listening to its timeAxisChange event and reload store if the range gets changed. In this case time range start/end should ...

Re: Reccurence and Lazy Load

Allowing an arbitrary store to contain recurring timespans will appear in the upcoming Scheduler 3.0 release. We plan to release it this week. There was a similar question on the forum where I provided a solution w/ a couple of temporary workarounds: https://www.bryntum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=51&...
