Re: Project not saving and updating in database

I've changed the demo code so now it has "Save" button on the toolbar. You can find it in the next nightly build or in the next gantt release.

Re: Project not saving and updating in database

Ok, thing is we've actually forgotten to add a button to trigger data persisting. As a quick workaround you can add autoSync config to the project model initialization in the demo app.js file: const project = window.project = new ProjectModel({ // enable automatic data persisting autoSync : true, Af...

Re: defaultAvailability not saved to the server

IIRC The idea was that defaultAvailability is either taken from the calendar class (and then its value is omitted in Gnt.model.Calendar#DefaultAvailability field) or it can be overridden and then the field is fulfilled. Your override makes sense if you want to always see availability transferred ..y...

Re: Propagate ! crashes detected

Hello, the tasks configuration in the provided screenshot builds a cycle because of parent-child relationship (which is invalid). "TMA-Gestion ..." child depends on its parent "New Task : 7 ..." task end date ...which in turn depends on its children (one of which is "TMA-Gestion ..." task) end dates...

Re: Features Related

8. How the effort is calculated? A task effort is calculated as sum of assigned resources effort. Where a resource effort is its available time multiplied by its allocation percent. Example: A task has 1 day duration (starts on Mon 00:00, finishes on Tue 00:00). It has two resources assigned: Jon 5...

Re: Update automatic summary task dates

For me it goes like this: a) set MSO 1/23/2017 constraint on "Investigate" task -> the task shifts to start on 1/23/2017 b) set SNET on "Planning" task -> constraint date for the task is set to 01/16/2017 00:00 c) set SNET constraint date to 1/31/2017 -> constraint violation message shows up d) if I...

Re: Update automatic summary task dates

I cannot reproduce the issue.
Given the steps you've described if I choose "Cancel ..." option the changes are reverted and if I choose "Continue. Remove .." the SNET constraint on "Planning" task gets removed.

Re: Scheduling as of project start date and roll up

This is by design. A forward scheduled project start date (a backward scheduled project end date) is not calculated automatically. It's meant to be fixed while the project end (start for bw project) is calculated.

Re: Gnt.widget.DependencyGrid

Yes that's sounds doable. Take a look at the
Gnt.widget.DependencyGrid#buildTasksCombo private method code. Just override it to replace the standard combobox with whatever you want to have in your application.

Re: A way for task to be ignored in parent task duration calculation

Unfortunately this is not something that can be done easily. Yet that's doable of course, but you'll need to tweak some private methods. The first candidate is Gnt.model.Task#refreshCalculatedParentNodeData method. There you can find the following lines: for (var i = 0; i < length; i++) { var r = ch...
