Default task means whenever there is no tasks found from database during load, I want to add something "Please add your task"

I have a requirement of setting default task if no tasks available after load from the database. Is there any way I can do that?

No I don't want to expand or collapse individual but my requirement is when I load data it should be collapse like I've mentioned in the image. would that be possible?

In my solution, I am trying to collapse only parent node. I've tried following function but it collapse all except root.

gantt.features.tree.expandOrCollapseAll

Is there any way to collapse only parents ?
