There are two different kinds of licenses for our products: Standard End-User License and OEM License. A standard end-user license is used for applications or services such as an intranet application that will not be redistributed for a fee to third parties. Which license is right for me?
If you are building an application or service that will only be used internally at your company, and not licensed to third parties, you only need our standard End-User license. If you are intending to create a commercial product such as a project management SaaS application or an ERP suite you need our OEM license. Contact us to receive an OEM license quote or if you are unsure which license is right for your company. For more information please see our license page.
I use Sencha Touch version X, do you support it?
We support the most recent major version of Sencha Touch, and the previous major version. Since our first version is based on ST 2, we don’t support version 1. You automatically get access to all our older releases too in our Customer Zone.
Do you offer any discounts?
We are offer happy to offer you the following discounts for our end-user licenses.
- 70% off if you are an Sencha or Bryntum community contributor with > 500 forum posts.
- 30% off if you want to use our products for charity, environmental or educational work.
- 30% off if you post a blog post on your (public) company blog describing how you use our products.
Can I pay via invoice instead of PayPal?
Yes this is certainly possible, for alternate methods of payment please contact us.
Do I need a Sencha Touch license to use your products?
Yes, to use our products in any scenario, you must also have a valid commercial Sencha Touch license. You cannot use our products together with a GPL license of Sencha Touch. To find out which Sencha Touch license is appropriate for you or your company, please see the license options.
Can I buy through a reseller?

How do I get the source code after paying for a license?
After purchasing a license, in order to receive the product including the fully readable code, please register in our customer zone and provide your full name, company name, company VAT registration number (for customers within EU) and the order number received from PayPal. As soon as we have activated your account, you’ll be able to download the full source code.
Additional Terms and Conditions
For business entities within the EU, VAT reverse charge applies, article 44 and 196 in Directive 2006/112/EEC (general rule).
